#12:  Where can I read the new requirements for NVG Pilot qualificaion and NVG Instructor qualificaion?  What about remaining current?

Training a pilot must receive from an authorized flight instructor to be NVG qualified can be found in the NEW 61.31(k) at:
http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/cgi/t/text/text-idx?c=ecfr;sid=b2d45411a0bf76b1d2df2e9132bcebcb;rgn=div2;view=text;node=20090821:1.23;idno=14;cc=ecfr;start=1;size=25

The recency of experience requirements and renewal requirements for NVG operations as pilot in command can be found in the NEW 61.57 paragraphs (f) and (g) at:

The Flight Instructor requirements (what you need to receive the endorsement to instruct NVGs) can be found at the NEW 61.195 (k) at:

If you read the last link above, you'll find that you don't need a test to be an NVG instructor, you just have to have a certain amount of experience and then go get an endorsement from an Inspector at the FSDO.
